Kent and Kathy Pfrimmer opened Kent's Meats & Groceries at 8080 Airport Road in 1978 and since have prided themselves in delivering plain, old-fashioned customer service to many loyal customers in the North State.

Honored as Business of the Year by the Anderson Chamber of Commerce and Business Persons of the Year by the Redding Chamber of Commerce attests to the quality of product, service and community involvement the Pfrimmer's have committed to.

More than just a grocery store, Kent's features items in the meat department and deli not found in other stores.

In addition to offering a complete selection of a traditional fresh Redding Meat Market, such as chicken, beef and pork, Kent's also offers cuts of buffalo, elk, deer and goat, as well as being the exclusive Shasta County market carrying Prather Ranch Natural Choice Beef. The store smokes its own ham and bacon, along with several varieties of sausage and bratwurst.

In Kathy's Deli, Gourmet Dinners to-go, salads and sandwiches are made fresh daily. Kathy's Doggone Good Jerky and Kathy' homemade salsa are the talk of the town. Another deli feature is the 16-foot long cheese case featuring a large variety of domestic, imported and organic cheeses.

Friday's have been a tradition for over 10 years at Kent's featuring the parking lot BBQ of tri-tip, chicken and ribs. Combined with all the fixin's for a complete dinner to go.
